Thousands of families in Gaza continue to endure extremely harsh living conditions, as repeated crises have destroyed the water infrastructure and disrupted access to clean, safe drinking water. In this reality, securing water has become a daily struggle—one that endangers the health and dignity of children, patients, and the elderly. With limited resources and increasing needs, many families now rely almost entirely on humanitarian assistance to meet their basic water requirements.
In response to this urgent situation, Saed Charity launched an emergency water distribution project across several areas in the Gaza Strip, targeting the most vulnerable households, especially those facing prolonged water shortages. The intervention included deploying mobile water tanks and delivering safe drinking water on a daily basis to ensure families had access to sufficient and clean water.
This support provided more than just a basic necessity—it restored a sense of safety and relief to thousands of individuals. Mothers expressed deep gratitude, relieved that their children no longer had to drink unsafe water or wait for long hours just to secure a few liters. The project significantly helped reduce health risks, prevent waterborne diseases, and strengthen community resilience amid extremely difficult conditions.
Despite these efforts, the needs in Gaza remain overwhelming. Families continue to depend on consistent humanitarian support to secure a sustainable supply of safe water and to cope with the ongoing crisis. Saed Charity remains committed to expanding its interventions and ensuring that no family is left without this most essential lifeline.
