In Northwest Syria, where displacement continues and pressure on camps increases daily, access to clean water has become one of the most urgent challenges facing thousands of families. With damaged infrastructure and limited water sources, most residents rely heavily on humanitarian assistance to meet their daily needs.
In response to this growing crisis, Saed Charity launched a water distribution project across several camps in the region, aiming to provide safe drinking water to the most vulnerable families. The project includes deploying water trucks on a regular schedule to deliver sufficient quantities to each household, along with continuous monitoring to ensure the water is safe for drinking and household use.
This intervention has significantly eased the burden on displaced families—especially women and children—who previously walked long distances in search of water. The project also helped reduce the spread of waterborne diseases and improve overall health conditions within the camps.
Families expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that the initiative not only provided them with water but also restored a sense of security and stability amid their difficult circumstances.
As needs continue to grow, Saed Charity remains committed to ensuring the steady flow of clean water to all camps and calls on generous supporters to help sustain these essential projects that protect human dignity and safeguard the lives of thousands of children and families.
