In Syria and Gaza, water has become a daily struggle for survival. In Syrian displacement camps, children walk long distances carrying empty containers in search of a clean water source. In Gaza, the war has destroyed wells, pipelines, and purification stations, leaving thousands of families without a single drop of safe water. With contaminated alternatives, diseases spread quickly, putting children, the sick, and the elderly at severe risk.
In response to this critical crisis, Saed Charity expanded its efforts to deliver clean water to the most affected areas. In Syria, water tankers were deployed to remote camps lacking essential services, and families received safe bottled water, especially those unable to store large quantities. In Gaza, our team worked tirelessly despite destruction and fuel shortages, using mobile water tankers to deliver water to devastated neighborhoods and crowded shelters.
For many families, the arrival of water felt like life returning. Mothers expressed immense relief after days of fearing for their children’s health, while children celebrated every filled container as if it were a precious treasure. Yet despite these efforts, the need remains overwhelming; the crisis is deep, and thousands of families still wait for regular water supply.
