Many regions across Syria are suffering from severe shortages of drinking water due to widespread infrastructure destruction and damaged water networks. To address this challenge, our organization implemented a project to distribute clean drinking water to vulnerable families to meet their basic needs and protect their health.
The water is sourced from licensed and certified stations, then transported using sanitized water trucks to ensure safety and prevent contamination. Distribution focuses on neighborhoods and camps suffering from extreme scarcity, particularly informal camps that lack permanent water sources.
This project significantly eased the daily burden on families—especially women and children who previously had to walk long distances to collect small amounts of water. During distribution, families also receive guidance on proper water storage to ensure long-term safety.
Providing water is not just a service—it is a lifeline that protects communities. As the crisis continues, supporting water projects remains essential to prevent waterborne diseases and ensure families have access to this most basic necessity.
