Thousands of families in Syria suffer from a severe shortage of safe drinking water due to damaged water networks, rising transportation costs, and ongoing displacement to camps and informal settlements. Access to clean water has become a daily struggle that threatens public health, especially for children and the elderly.
In response to this urgent humanitarian need, Saed Relief and Development implemented a drinking water distribution project targeting the most vulnerable families in affected areas and displacement camps. The project provided safe, potable water through dedicated water tankers, ensuring organized and equitable distribution to reach as many beneficiaries as possible.
This intervention helped reduce the risk of waterborne diseases, protected children from dehydration and illness, and eased the daily burden on mothers who were forced to travel long distances to secure water. It also restored a sense of health security and temporary stability for families living in extremely difficult conditions.
The distributed drinking water was more than a basic resource—it was a lifeline that renewed hope for families suffering from thirst and fear for their children’s well-being. Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for this assistance, which significantly alleviated their daily hardship.
We extend our sincere thanks to all donors and supporters who made this humanitarian project possible. Your continued generosity and sharing of this report with family and friends help expand its impact and allow us to reach more families in need across Syria.
