Give Clean Water: Syria, Gaza and Lebanon

Thousands of Syrian families are facing a severe shortage of clean drinking water due to the destruction of water networks, ongoing displacement, and the collapse of infrastructure after years of conflict. In camps and affected areas, access to safe water has become a daily struggle, placing an especially heavy burden on women, children, and the elderly.

In response to this urgent humanitarian need, Saed Relief and Development implemented a drinking water distribution project targeting the most vulnerable families in displacement camps and affected communities. Clean water was delivered through water trucks and distributed regularly to ensure families had safe water for drinking and daily use.

This project helped protect families from waterborne diseases such as diarrhea and gastrointestinal infections, which pose serious risks to children’s health. It also reduced the daily hardship faced by mothers who previously had to travel long distances in search of water, restoring a sense of dignity and security for many households.

The water distributed was more than a basic necessity—it was a message of compassion and hope, reminding Syrian families that they are not forgotten. Beneficiaries expressed sincere gratitude for this support, which significantly improved their health and living conditions.
