Since our last report we’ve been delivering a range of classes for the young ladies we work with. Those on Pre-School Teaching have been practicing lesson planning, making engaging classrooms and interactive experiences for young developing minds. Those on Nurse Aide training have been learning about changing beds whilst keeping a sanitary space for patients and equipment. Cushon making for Cutting and Designing and all sorts of frilly things for Interior Décor. Cosmetology students have been looking at the composition and application of skincare products and, as usual, Hotel and Catering Students have been making delicious three course meals in hygienic food stations.
We’ve been taking to the girls about their hopes and dreams, their need for independence and their move towards economic empowerment.
