Give Goats & Poultry to 500 Ugandan Single Mothers

Dear Donors,

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Give Goats & Poultry to 500 Ugandan Single Mothers project. Your support shows care for women raising families under difficult conditions and seeking a steady way to provide food and income.

Many single mothers in rural Uganda live without assets or reliable income. This makes it hard to feed their families, pay school fees, or cover health costs. Limited options leave women and children exposed to hunger and illness, and some families are forced to make unsafe choices just to survive.

This project plans to provide 2 goats and 5 chickens to each of 500 single mothers, along with vaccines, feed, and practical training in animal care and small trade. Livestock will allow families to access milk and eggs for food, while selling surplus animals or produce can help meet daily needs and school expenses.

At this time, although donations have been received, the funds available are not sufficient to kickstart the project. Distribution of animals and training activities cannot begin until more support is secured.

Once funding improves, we will begin procurement, training sessions, and phased distribution to selected communities. This support can help mothers build income, improve household nutrition, and care for their children with greater stability.
