Spring Into Training

By Kim Mosiman | Executive Director

Some of the horses currently in training.
Some of the horses currently in training.

After a long winter focused on restoring health, building weight, and giving horses the time they needed to heal, spring has arrived in full force—and so has training season.

Our days are now filled with first lessons and fresh starts. From learning to lead with confidence, to understanding boundaries, to building trust with people, many of these horses are experiencing the “human world” in a whole new way. Every small step forward helps prepare them for a safe, successful, and adoptable future.

This work takes time, patience, and consistency—but it’s where transformation truly happens.

Because of your support, these horses aren’t just surviving… they’re learning, growing, and getting ready for the next chapter of their lives.

Thank you for standing with us through every season.
