Greetings-
Thank you for your generosity, for working together to give more kids in Angola access to education! In April, many of you donated to RISE through GlobalGiving's Little by Little Campaign, and helped maximize the match. Gifts up to $50 were matched - $2100 was donated to RISE, plus $900 in matching funds, totaling $3,000! The effort highlights how it all adds up, and makes a tangible difference!
Since 2003, RISE has built 196 schools which give over 142,000 access to education each year! We are grateful to the many donors in the US and abroad for their generous support. RISE has also pursued strategic in-country partnerships to help build more schools through Sustainable Development Programs, and collaborates with local Administrators and the Ministry of Education. The result of working together is that thousands of kids now have the chance to go to school each year! Education empowers and enhances lives, ends cycles of poverty and disease, and provides a base for sustainable development. When children have access to education, a ripple effect is created impacting generations to come.
