We offer safe shelter, regular nutritious meals, healthcare, psychosocial support, and formal schooling (including remedial classes for catch-up). By addressing their immediate survival needs alongside education, we empower them to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation and realize their full potential.
Nigeria has one of the world's highest rates of out-of-school children, with millions living or working on the streets due to poverty, abuse, and displacement. These children face daily risks of violence, exploitation, hunger, and disease. Without intervention, they remain illiterate, trapped in a cycle of poverty, and vulnerable to crime or trafficking. Formal education is impossible when basic survival is the only priority.
Our solution is a phased, child-centered approach: 1. Rescue & Stabilization: We provide a safe, nurturing shelter with food, clothing, and medical care. 2. Rehabilitation: We offer counseling and remedial, non-formal education to prepare them for a classroom setting. 3. Enrollment: We enroll them in formal school, covering all fees, uniforms, and books. 4. Family Support: We work to reconcile children with stable families or place them in supportive foster care for long-term success.
