"The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated." We cannot but thank you immensely for your kindness, generosity, and expression of solidarity to our project, "give succour and refuge to the poor and homeless (54364).
In our last report dated June 12, we haven't made much progress as regards to receiving support in carrying out our humanitarian services to, "Give succour and refuge to the poor and homeless.
In the past three months of our last project report, we haven't received any donation from donors through GlobalGiving link in continuation of our humanitarian services.
We are faced with series of challenges ranging from unemployment, this is high due to numerous factors, including the ongoing economic recession, slow economic growth, corruption, and increased population. According to reports by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in 2021, the country's unemployment rate was nearing a whopping 40%. All these factors are seriously having negative effect in our humanitarian services.
Balance of income of last project report brought forward= $1.24
The major challenges we face in our project management is occasioned by poor funding, inadequate equipment to execute the projects, absence of technical expertise, economic and political instability and environmental . All these contribute to delaying our performance in our humanitarian services.
The major problems that have been identified in the course of our community outreach in many rural areas are poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, homelessness, crime, social evils, lower living standards, lack of facilities, services, and health.
All these are attributed to; Low Agricultural Production, unemployment, economic Depression and Inadequate Development, lack of Sufficient Housing, faults in the Education System, joint Family System, Caste System and Religious Beliefs, colonial Rule, sickness and Mental Ill-Health.
Once again, thank you for your generous donation to "GIVE SUCCOUR & REFUGE TO THE POOR AND HOMELESS (54364)" that supported these efforts.
As the crises rages on, insecurity, uncertainty, and humanitarian needs abound. We are committed to /providing humanitarian and long-term support to rural communities.
