Appreciation

We extend our deepest gratitude to GlobalGiving and to all our wonderful donors, friends, and supporters for standing by us as we continue to serve the homeless and vulnerable across Nigeria.

Though we have not yet received new donations this quarter, your faith in our mission gives us the courage to keep going. Every word of encouragement, every act of kindness, and every prayer means a lot to us.

We sincerely appreciate GlobalGiving for providing us with a global platform to share our impact stories and connect with compassionate supporters like you.

Project Overview
The “Give Succor & Refuge to 150 Homeless Poor in Nigeria” project aims to provide temporary shelter, food, healthcare, and hope for the destitute, displaced, and homeless within our communities.

This quarter (July–September), we focused on preparatory and groundwork activities in anticipation of our December 2025 community outreach—a special end-of-year event that will offer holistic support to those in dire need.

Key Activities This Quarter

Community Mapping & Data Collection:
We identified and profiled 85 homeless individuals and families in Imo State and nearby areas who are potential beneficiaries of our December outreach.

Volunteer Mobilization:
We welcomed 15 new volunteers into our humanitarian network who will assist in logistics, food drives, and beneficiary coordination.

Partnership Engagements:
SOHF initiated discussions with local community leaders, faith-based organizations, and small businesses for in-kind donations (food, clothing, and healthcare supplies).

December Outreach Planning:
Detailed plans are in motion for our Annual Community Outreach, scheduled for December 2025, to include:
Provision of food, clothing, and hygiene kits
Free medical care and counselling
Temporary accommodation for the homeless
Skills orientation and social reintegration activities

Looking Ahead (October–December 2025)

We are entering a critical stage as we prepare to bring hope and relief to the most vulnerable this December. With your support, we can achieve:
Expansion of temporary shelters to house more beneficiaries
Launch of our mobile kitchen initiative to feed the homeless during the festive season
Community sensitization programs on care, empathy, and inclusion

A Special Invitation: GivingTuesday – December 2, 2025

As the world celebrates GivingTuesday on December 2, 2025, we invite you to join hands with us once again in lighting up lives.

Your contribution—no matter how small—will help provide food, shelter, and love to those who have none.

Let’s make this GivingTuesday a turning point for the homeless poor in Nigeria.

Final Words
From all of us at the Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation (SOHF), we say thank you for believing in our vision. Together with GlobalGiving and kindhearted donors like you, we will continue to bring succor, dignity, and hope to those society often overlooks.

May this last quarter of 2025 be a season of renewed compassion and collective impact.

Warmest regards,

Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation
