Last Christmas we called on people’s charity to donate 100 hearing screenings to 100 newborn children.
The heroes that responded to the call donated 20 of these tests in total. We wanted to thanks them for believed in the importance of hearing care, preventive health and the future of children with limited resources. Although we did not reach the target, we are happy and grateful to witness the solidarity of our community and the dissemination that our work has achieved thanks to this platform.
This is the second most performed exam within our foundation. Last year we conducted 507 of these exams in total, with a value of 15 dollars per exam, a reduced price designed for give access of people with limited resources, but that can still be difficult for some families to afford.
As you can see, the work is arduous and the road ahead is still long. The holiday season is over, but the opportunity to help always remains. With this report we close the project "Gives 100 hearing screening for 100 kids", but not the opportunity to help us and to continue participating in our work from our other active projects.
