Global Disaster Relief Fund

Dear Supporters,

When we set up this fund we didn't ever imagine a disaster as big as global COVID. While it has been a very stressful two years for everyone, many developed countries are now taking steps to learn to live with the virus and return to normal. Now we know that every single person has been affected by COVID but the damage done to some of the most rural, poorest communities around the world is a disaster. 

Governments are on their knees in many countries and now those small rural communities that always fall through the cracks of support have now become even more affected. People in Africa no longer care about COVID as they face a bigger challenge of dying from hunger due to lockdowns, unemployment and Government aid money being stolen through corruption. Over in Asia the healthcare is crashing and there is no support so communities are left to defend themselves. 

It sounds terrible and it is but the reality is that our project has kept these people going, we are still funding over 1,000 hot meals a day and covering the cost of PPE. Our next steps as we come to the end of this year is to use this fund to help people rebuild lives, retrain for work and continue to fight poverty and unemployment.

However, this fund is almost empty and therefore we need your support. We also hope in the new year to be able to start welcoming volunteers back in Africa initally and welcome you to connect with us to get invovle hello@actionchange.org 

All donations make a real difference and this fund has been the biggest lifeline for many of our communities over the past 24 months and we thank you for your donations and support.
