Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing goats to poor farming families here in our project areas. Feedback from our beneficiaries shows that the goats provided to them gave them multiple benefits such as meat, milk and offspring. The goats they can also easily sell during times of hardship and emergency. One of the problems met by the project is the lack of upgraded goat breeds that we can multiply for release to our beneficiaries. One of our strategies this reporting period is to start a modest goat multiplication farm where we raise and breed goats and then release the offspring to our beneficiaries. The goat breeded farm in located in Libertad municipality and we are starting with 32 goats, 27 of which are does and 5 bucks. We asked the local veterinarian to assist us in medicating and provision of vitamins to the goats as well as identifying suitable grasses high in protein that the goats can eat.  Hoping that we will be successful in this effort.

Again thank you very much for your generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora
