Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing goats to poor farming families. With the African swine fever affecting a lot of pigs in the villages, the raising of goats remain a very viable business especially for poor farmers. Goats roam freely in the farms and are easy to raise. This reporting period we provided additional support to raisers of goats by giving them forage seeds which they can grow in their farms. in this way, free range feeding of their goats is augmented by grasses with high protein content. We were able to provide 210 farmers with this support and they are happy about it. We are also in the process of linking-up with the agriculture department of the government so that we can access quality breed in order to upgrade village stocks. Hoping for your continuing generosity and support to this initiative.
