Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind support to our initiative providing goats to poor farming families. The severe weather conditions caused by climate change has made this project a little difficult to implement. Grasses which abound before are now difficult to find and goats thrive on grasses as their main diet. With this condition, we developed an area for grass production focusing on growing highly-nutritious grasses for goats, reproducing these and providing planting materials to farmers. The mistake before was in raising goats without adequate pasture area and the animals become thin and sickly. During this reporting period we were able to clear a 1 hectare area and start growing 3 different kind of grasses. Hopefully we will be able to distribute these planting materials to farmers.
