Hello Sea Israel supporters!

We're back with another update:

Construction Update

The external progress on the Aquarium building has advanced significantly and most of the roof has been completed; all of the required materials and filters have been ordered in anticipation of beginning work on the life support systems; we are in the process of selecting a graphic and interior designer to assist with lighting and signage design; and the pipe that will transfer water to the aquarium has now been laid — one of the important stages prior to the development of the road and parking.

A big thank you to our generous stone facing suppliers have decided to donate all of the surplus stone from their inventories to this project. This stone will be used creatively throughout the building on floors and walls and will assist with keeping costs down.

Education Program Update

Now that the Education Program outline has been completed, detailed work has begun on specific programs aimed at specific ages and varied audiences.

Moving Forward

Please continue to spread the word about Israel's first aquarium - an essential educational tool to raise awareness of the challenges facing our aquatic habitats. We are excited to move closer towards finalization of this wonderful project - the best is yet to come!
