Hello Israel Aquarium Supporters!

It’s still all go at the Aquarium!

Our sealing team has completed the sealing of all tanks except for the very large Mediterranean Sea exhibit with its underwater tunnel. Most tanks have been filled with water and are in the process of being tested for leaks.

The life support systems have been running and troubleshooting of various small problems is well underway to ensure a system that runs efficiently.

Our first animals are still being housed in our quarantine facility and in the coming months, more animals will arrive to complete our collection. We continue to care for various exotic species brought to us by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority for specialized care (animals confiscated from illegal importers and traders).

The interior artwork for most exhibits has been completed, the walls have been painted, the floor laid, the lab and kitchen facilities installed - there is really a sense of things taking shape.

Presently the koi pond within the entrance plaza is under construction and work is being completed on an interactive educational exhibit.

With thanks and appreciation for your continued support,

Team Aquarium at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo
