Over the past three months, Grace Honduras has continued operating in one of the most complex environments in San Pedro Sula, serving children and families living in and around the city landfill.
Despite ongoing infrastructure challenges, including limited access to running water and logistical constraints, the program has remained active, providing consistent educational support, daily meals, and a safe space for over 150 children.
In this period, we have tracked nearly 3,000 meals served, alongside sustained academic engagement and community presence. These numbers represent more than outputs; they reflect continuity in a context where stability is rare.
At the same time, this quarter has highlighted the structural pressures behind the work. Operating in an environment with limited resources requires not only program execution but constant coordination, problem-solving, and adaptation to external constraints.
Looking ahead, our focus is not only to maintain the program but to strengthen the conditions that allow it to operate sustainably; improving infrastructure, reinforcing support systems, and ensuring that the work can continue with greater stability and long-term impact.
Thank you for being part of this work.
