Clean Water, Health, and Sustainability for GGHSS Warijoon, Chitral

Alkhidmat Foundation Upper Chitral proudly inaugurated a solar-powered water supply scheme at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Warijoon, Moulkow. This innovative project is a transformative step for the school, providing thousands of students and staff with access to clean drinking water.

The solar-powered system ensures a sustainable and reliable water supply, significantly enhancing health and well-being while reducing dependency on unsafe water sources. By utilizing renewable energy, the project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy). These efforts also support SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting better hygiene and reducing waterborne diseases.
