Title: Alkhidmat Constructs School Toilets for 400 Students in Paras Valley, Mansehra
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation constructed school toilet facilities in Paras Valley, District Mansehra, benefiting approximately 400 students studying at Alkhidmat Schools. The new sanitation facilities provide students with improved access to safe, hygienic, and dignified sanitation within their school environment.
Story / Update
Access to proper sanitation facilities is essential for creating a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for children. In underserved and remote communities, inadequate school sanitation can affect students’ health, hygiene, dignity, and overall educational experience.
To address this need, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan constructed new toilet facilities for Alkhidmat Schools in Paras Valley, Mansehra, directly benefiting approximately 400 students.
The newly constructed facilities will provide students with improved access to sanitation during school hours, helping promote better hygiene practices and a cleaner school environment.
The initiative forms part of Alkhidmat’s broader commitment to improving Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities in educational institutions, ensuring that children have access not only to education but also to the basic facilities necessary for their health, dignity, and well-being.
