With your generous support Renew has delivered an impactful first phase of the Green Rebuild Toolkit.
Over 2021 we developed our Green Rebuild Toolkit website, which helps bushfire affected communities rebuild in a way that is both sustainable and resilient to future climate disaster. The website has had over 15,000 unique visitors.
We brought together an accessible 6 part webinar series, with over 3,000 in attendance. You can watch these webinars on or Green Rebuild Toolkit website, made for people rebuilding after bushfire, as well as those looking to make their homes more resilient in the face of future climate disasters.
We also held a couple of Speed Date a Sustainability Expert event's. These events provided an opportunity for 120 community members to talk with some of Australia's leading designers, builders, and bushfire experts. Throughout the sessions, people asked questions, reviewed house plans, or workshopped rebuild ideas.
We're pleased to announce that GlobalGiving has funded us to begin a second project phase. We are currently in the community consultation phase, listening to those most affected by the Black Summer bushfires to ensure we deliver resources and expertise that is most needed.
We look forward to continuing to update you throughout 2022. Thank you for your support.
