Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates on what we've been working on at the Clementine Foundation over the past few months, all thanks to your continued support.
We've had four groups of passionate volunteers who are currently running projects aimed at promoting volunteerism in the local communities of southern Mazovia. They’ve been organizing events, competitions, and in September, we’ll be hosting our very first Youth Volunteer Forum. It’s incredible to see how our efforts are starting to build a stronger, more connected community.
On another front, our dedicated volunteers have been making a significant impact in the lives of nearly 200 elderly individuals with disabilities by delivering hot meals to their homes three times a week. For many of them, these are their only hot meals. One of our recipients, Mr. Józef, who is 80 years old, shared his thoughts: “I make three cups of tea from one teabag, and I can only afford cold cuts for sandwiches on special occasions. I couldn’t believe it when I was told I’d be getting hot meals delivered to my door for free. At first, I thought it was a joke, and then I cried. I’m truly grateful.”
Moreover, our volunteers are extending their reach to elderly Ukrainian refugees. We’re providing prepaid shopping cards to 80 seniors, allowing them to purchase food and hygiene products—essentials that they otherwise couldn’t afford. This group is facing some of the toughest challenges, and we’re committed to helping them through these difficult times.
I’m also thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we will soon be launching a scholarship program for volunteers who are in difficult financial and living situations. Additionally, starting in August, we’ll be rolling out training sessions to help our volunteers strengthen their mental resilience—a crucial skill in their invaluable work.
P.S. Your support has been instrumental in making all of this possible. If you would like to continue helping us expand these vital programs, please consider making a donation. Together, we can make an even bigger difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Thank you for standing with us and making our community stronger.
With gratitude,
Dawid and the Team of Clementine Foundation
