Bridges of Hope: Volunteers in Action

Dear Donors and Friends,

This past year has been a celebration of connection, kindness, and community – and it’s all thanks to you. With your support, the Klementyna Foundation was able to bring people of all ages together through the power of volunteering. From joyful picnics to youth-led forums and thoughtful workshops, each event became a meaningful opportunity to inspire, learn, and grow together.

In Radom’s Zamynie neighborhood, we hosted a vibrant community picnic under the banner Volunteering – A Bridge Across Generations”, led by Jolanta Wziatek. It was more than just a sunny afternoon – it was a chance to share the spirit of volunteering with those who had never experienced it before. Families gathered for workshops, games, and conversations that sparked curiosity and connection. Residents got to know the mission of our Foundation and discovered how they could get involved. Most importantly, it planted seeds for lasting relationships in the local community.

Just days earlier, Ewa Kuligowska brought to life another joyful event: With Heart for People.” On a beautiful Sunday, June 30th, the park filled with laughter, colorful attractions, and the energy of neighbors coming together. While children played with glitter tattoos, bounced on inflatables, and painted their faces, adults learned about local volunteer opportunities and ways to make a difference. Fire trucks, water battles, and toasted sausages brought fun and flavor, but it was the sense of unity and purpose that truly made the day unforgettable.

Young voices also had their moment to shine. Young Voices, Big Impact: Youth Forum on NGOs and Volunteering,” led by Aleksandra Kuligowska, welcomed 170 participants from across the region. Students, teachers, and youth leaders gathered for dynamic panel discussions about community involvement, personal stories of activism, and the impact of NGOs. Inspiring speakers – from school representatives to youth council members – shared their journeys, proving that age is no barrier to making a difference. The forum didn’t end in the auditorium; it echoed through the pages of the local newspaper Jabonka, spreading the message even further.

And finally, we returned home – to Przystanek Klementyny – where on November 13th, we held a very special workshop titled Active Mind – Active Life”. Led by Agnieszka Szostek and facilitated by Piotr acki, this session focused on cognitive activation for seniors. A small group of dedicated volunteers and social workers gathered to explore techniques and tools for helping older adults stay mentally engaged and emotionally connected. The hands-on exercises and shared stories were a powerful reminder that support for others begins with understanding and care.

Each of these moments – whether loud and festive or quiet and reflective – was made possible by your generosity. Your belief in the power of community fuels every smile, every handshake, and every first step into the world of volunteering. Thank you for helping us build bridges across generations and for walking alongside us in this beautiful journey of compassion and connection.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Klementyna Foundation Team
