We are so excited to share with you, our incredible supporters, an emotional video about the story of Novanet. As you know, Novanet started as a social enterprise project of the Filantropis association in Chajul, Guatemala. The project met a priority in the community to have a high speed internet connection that was reliable, affordable, and that was offered by and for the people of Chajul. To date, Novanet has connected more than 200 homes, businesses, and organizations and their services are used by professionals, students, municipal leaders, business ownders, and households. One of their commitments is to ensure that families who are separated by borders are able to utilize the service to be in touch. Novanet’s motto is “Connecting people with those they love the most.”
At this time when many people are seeking economic opportunity away from their home community, the valuable service that Novanet offers is more important than ever. Please take a moment to view the video to learn more about Novanet’s inspiring story and positive impact on the community.
