Chocklor village residents are growing vegetables and developing their community.
Community members now have fresh, clean water…all thanks to members of Gulf Intl Bank. This support means a lot to members of Chocklor village. They are now seeing a better future for themselves.
Currently they are working hard to improve their economic status by earning sustainable income and improving their health with a balanced diet and vital information on nutrition, hygiene and sanitation. They have now established a market garden with vegetables that will soon be ready for harvesting.
Men and women are working together, seeing the benefits that the project has bought to them, and of sharing responsibilities in a fair and equal way. A huge achievement.
Health workshops were held, with over 200 residents participating. They now understand the importance of hand washing, healthily nutrition and safe sanitation.
WellFound has also ensured that men and women work together for the development of their community. We conducted 5 equality workshops for men and women. 38 community leaders participated. We are already seeing a more equal society.
