Happy New Year! As we step into 2024, it is the perfect time to set new goals, embrace exciting new opportunities, and more importantly be filled with gratitude.

Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. This will keep you informed about all our accomplishments and show you how your generous donation was used. I hope you enjoy learning about our work and continue to stay engaged with our team.
The last couple of years were rough and tough as an organization and as individuals. We lost family, friends, and almost lost faith especially when travel and tourism industry went to free fall due to the pandemic. Thanks to your tremendous generosity and the encouraging words from most of you, we could navigate throughout these dark moments.
The unprecedented pandemic exposed the fragility of the travel sector, resulting in the closing of several tourism business and economic setbacks for destination heavily dependent on tourism such as Madagascar. At the same time, the pandemic presented an opportunity for destination, organizations, etc. to assess the role of tourism, enhance their resilience, and develop a more balanced tourism offering. Hence, there is an urgent need to steer tourism towards sustainability. Together we can make it happen, and mobilize actions to consider more impact on communities, natural resources, diversity and inclusion.
We are delighted to announce that GlobalGiving have recently approved Halt Poverty's due diligence renewal. In other words, we can continue to fundraise on the GlobalGiving platform, receive a GlobalGiving, and participate in a funding partner giving program.
Therefore, we are thrilled to kick-off our new crowdfunding campaigns with the continuation of Halt Poverty Tsaranoro's fruit-trees plantation project #62980.
