With the generous gifts from donors from all over the world WeForest can restore more than 15 hectares of forest in the East Khasi Hills. This will positively impact 30 families in the area and give a job to over 200 people during the planting season that starts in May. Your donations will help to continue our work in the region, which started three years ago. Restoring the forests to their natural glory is one aspect of our work. There is so much more: home run nurseries, women entrepreneurs groups, involvement of youth volunteers, making the community aware of environment stewardship. Have a look at our latest planting report for more information on the great things that are happening in the WeForest planting project in East-Khasi Hills. And thank you for your continuing support to make this possible!
