Greetings from Ukraine!
Our team is on-site at Healing Base Camp this week, celebrating a milestone: the one-year anniversary of this program location. Last year, we traveled to western Ukraine to launch what has become a thriving year-round program and one that has vastly expanded the number of families we can serve.
When we began, the program ran two sessions per month. Today, thanks to the addition of a second Ukrainian staff team, including therapists, climbing instructors, and operations personnel, we are running four programs per month. This week, we have the honor of hosting former POWs and their families. This growth is truly cause for celebration.
Road to Resilience: $10K Challenge
This month, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and the five-year anniversary of Mountain Seed Foundation's founding, we launched a matching fundraising campaign. Our matching partner originally committed to a dollar-for-dollar match on donations up to $5,000 — and thanks to enthusiastic support, we surpassed that goal. Our partner has now raised the match ceiling to $10,000, meaning that if we reach this new target together, a total of $20,000 will go toward supporting our work.
To take part in this opportunity, donations must be made on our website at mountainseedfoundation.org. All matched donations must be received before May 31.
