FRESH PROTEIN MEALS TO 23 FAMILIES
On Ashura (Islamic Holiday), Muslims commemorate the death of their important religious figure. One of the ways they do this is by feeding the poor.
One day before Ashura, Muwakhat foundation arranged protein meals and distributed them to 23 families.
Cost of one box per head is 0.70 US Dollar. Total Fresh meal boxes distributed: 150
When the families received the meal, it brought happiness on their faces and our volunteers photographed them.

We reached only 1900 families out of 32000 families. Let’s all come together to fight this pandemic and ensure that nobody is hungry during this pandemic.
