This winter Muwakhat Foundation is going to distribute warm clothes, blankets, and Eggs to 1500 children who live on the streets and poor families who cannot afford to purchase warm clothes for their children.

Muwakhat Foundation is helping underprivileged children with food, clothes, and education since 2013. Approximately 1800 children registered with the organization.

Last Year in February 2021, the Muwakahat team distributed warm clothes to 700 children and blankets with beds set to 260 homeless families to save children from cold. Muwakhat Branch office located in Lahore city of Pakistan distributed warm clothes to little angles (children aged between 01yrs-13yrs). 300 families and 890 children attended the event.

Highlights of the event “distribution of new warm clothes to homeless children”

  • Muwakhat team visited the project area, took measurements of children for purchase of new clothes
  • Families registered for the distribution of clothes and blankets
  • Muwakhat staff members purchased clothes and made packages for children
  • This event was arranged by the Muwakhat foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club and GlobalGiving.
  • Package of new warm clothes distributed to children
  • Two blankets with bed set distributed to one family.
  • Children stamp their hands at the white chart to say thank you GlobalGiving
  • At the end of the event, milk, and biscuits were distributed to the children.
  • Zareen Aamir Chairperson thanks to all families, Lawyers, Lion Club, students, and branch staff. She shared the next action plan for financial sustainability, education, and health.:

 Inside Package:

Each package includes two pairs of pants or trousers, two shirts, one woolen sweater or leather jacket, one pair of socks, and one woolen cap. Two sets distributed to one child

 

This Year we will save 1500 orphans and poor children from cold with the support of our generous donors.
