Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in supporting the health of our volunteers across Nigeria. Your concern recognizes the quiet sacrifices made by individuals who serve rural and disadvantaged communities every day.
Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research works with over 500 volunteers, and about 90% are unemployed and unable to afford health insurance. Many are married with children, yet their modest stipends cannot cover medical expenses. Without insurance, even minor illness can cause financial strain and force them to suspend their service. This project will enroll selected volunteers in a community health insurance plan covering basic medical care, maternal services, and emergency treatment. With reduced out-of-pocket expenses, volunteers can remain active in delivering healthcare, nutrition, and education programs in underserved areas.
At present, no donations have been received for this project. Funding is required before enrollment into the insurance scheme can begin. We kindly invite you to support or share this initiative so those who serve others can also receive care.
With sincere appreciation,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
