Last week, we reached the remote community of Barú, Colombia, with one of our health brigades, continuing our mission to serve children and families in need. This was made possible thanks to the collaboration of 4 volunteers, 1 member of our allied foundation, and 3 members of Fundacion Patronato , along with the support of 2 community managers and a team of 12 medical specialists, including surgeons, pediatricians, dermatologists, orthopedists, ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, and nutritionists.
Over the course of two days, the brigade attended to 321 children between the ages of 0 and 16 years, providing a total of 1,974 medical consultations. In addition to medical attention, all children received the necessary medications free of charge.

Informe de Brigada de Salud – Barú, Colombia
La semana pasada llegamos a la comunidad remota de Barú, Colombia, con una de nuestras brigadas de salud, continuando nuestra misión de servir a los niños y familias que lo necesitan. Esto fue posible gracias a la colaboración de 4 voluntarios, 1 miembro de nuestra fundación aliada y 3 miembros de nuestra propia fundación, junto con el apoyo de 2 community managers y un equipo de 12 médicos especialistas, entre ellos cirujanos, pediatras, dermatólogos, ortopedistas, oftalmólogos, otorrinolaringólogos y nutricionistas.
Durante dos días, la brigada atendió a 321 niños entre los 0 y 16 años, brindando un total de 1.974 consultas médicas. Además de la atención médica, todos los niños recibieron de manera gratuita los medicamentos necesarios.
