Sebastian a very spontaneous and intelligent child

By Alba Luz Arroyave | Project Leader

Sebastian is an 8-year-old boy who lives in Medellin, is very cheerful and enthusiastic. He constantly looks for conversation topics where he demonstrates his intelligence and education. All the people with whom he relates, admire him because he speaks with a lot of property and is always happy and smiling.

This child has a disease called bilateral obstructive megaureter consisting of congenital ureteral dilation, which refers to an expanded or enlarged ureter whose function is abnormal. He was diagnosed after his mother, Elisa, noticed that Sebastian had a fever continuously and did not feel well.

After consulting several times and performing different diagnostic tests Sebastian was referred to our Hospital about 3 months ago, where he has had several surgeries and treatments that have helped him in his process.

His grateful mother affirms: “My child is taken care of very well, all the staff is very friendly. I will not get tired of thanking them because every time we come to the Hospital they receive it with very nice words".

Sebastian is one of the children who benefit from the attention of our specialists and our medical teams. Together we can continue to contribute so that the care of children like Sebastian remains complete.
