From the municipality of Jardín, in the northwest of Colombia, a child with a marked smile on his face and with great strength and desire to get ahead came to our Infant Hospital Andrés.
Andres has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the most common type of cancer during childhood, which occurs when a bone marrow cell has errors in its DNA. From his diagnosis, he entered our Hospital to receive his treatment of 6 chemotherapy sessions, so he is hospitalized until his process is finished.
Viviana, the mother of this 5-year-old boy, feels very grateful and affirms that: “In this Hospital, we have been treated very well, I am very happy because at all times they are watching my son when he is decayed they always try to make him feel good giving him support and strength to continue this process. ”
Andres is one of the children who is benefiting from the attention of our specialists, treatments and medical equipment. With your contribution, you can continue to help Andrés and the other children of our Children's Hospital.
