Emily is a 9 year old girl, born in the department of Choco, who went to the doctor after an abdominal swelling. Her mother, concerned that she was not receiving timely care, decided to travel to Medellin where she was diagnosed with cancer and referred to our hospital, where they were received by specialists who made available all the necessary equipment to start treatment.
Emily is currently hospitalized receiving chemotherapy treatment while waiting for the tumor to reduce its size and perform an extraction surgery that will allow her to successfully complete the treatment and be able to resume her life with her family in Choco.
Our specialists work every day to provide timely care to our patients, supported by the latest technology biomedical equipment that we have thanks to donations from caring people who support our mission to care for the health of children in Colombia.
With your donations you contribute so that more children like Emily can receive specialized health care for their highly complex diagnoses. We count on you!
