With this main motto, we are glad to announce that DCWC Community Hospital is now offering A Specialist Health Service once a monthfrom October, 2025. Working closely with the remote communities, identifying their health needs, we figured that the best possible way to help them is to provide this kind of service 12 times (once a month) a year. This will be highly beneficial for them.We believe health is not just about treatment—it’s about care, trust and continue process.

 As we provided two services till date, one is on Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension where 83 Patients including 45 women and 38 men got special medical care and consultation from Dr. Ram Sharan Shrestha (MD). Another is on Orthopedic and Physiotherapy by Orthopedic Specialist Dr. Dibya Purush Dhakal, and a Physiotherapist Madhav Dhungana, 43 wonderful individuals, including 28 female and 15 male got this service.

To see people travelling long way to get this specialist health Service from the villages like Lishankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality–1, Sindhupalchok (a 4-hour walk distance), as well as Doramba Sailung Rural Municipality–4 (Darga) and Doramba Sailung Rural Municipality–7 (Thapagaun), Ramechhap, and Chaurideurali Rural Municipality–1, 2, 3, and 4, made us feel it’s worth what we have started. We are truly encouraged by the trust and active participation shown by the people and it has been so inspiring to us to continue and expand such health-focused services in the future.
