lndian Association for the Blind (lAB) based in Madurai, South India, is a well-known non-profit
organization working at the grassroots level for the education, employment and rehabilitation of people with visual challenges. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people to provide comprehensive education, employment and rehabilitation opportunities for socio-economically disempowered visually challenged children and adults with a special focus on those living in rural areas.
We are happy to mention that we have received donations worth $386 for this project. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the donors who have been giving us constant support and encouragement. The donations we received from donors for this project has been really beneficial to us.
With these donations, we will be able to provide healthy, balanced meals to our visually challenged children. By way of eating these nutritious meals, they will be hale and healthy which will help them concentrate on their education. We look forward to connecting with more philanthropists in future for this cause. Can we even imagine going hungry for a day sans eating??
