lndian Association for the Blind (lAB) based in Madurai, South India, is a well-known non-profit
organization working at the grassroots level for the education, employment and rehabilitation of people with visual challenges. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people to provide comprehensive education, employment and rehabilitation opportunities for socio-economically disempowered visually challenged children and adults with a special focus on those living in rural areas.
It provides us happiness to inform that through this project, we have raised $396 through 9 donations till date. We extend our gratitude and thanks to all the donors for this timely help and support from their side. These donations will be highly beneficial in helping our visually challenged kids eat balanced, nutritious meals 3 times a day, which would have otherwise always remained a distant dream for them.
Due to this philanthropic gesture by donors across the globe, we will be able to make their dreams come true. These balanced diets will help them grow in a healthy manner which will in turn result in increased concentration, better immunity and improved health and living.
