This week, Saeed Relief and Development (SAED) launched an urgent humanitarian project to provide heating supplies and fresh bread for families in Gaza, who are enduring unimaginable hardship. With power outages, fuel shortages, and widespread food insecurity, even the simplest daily needs have become difficult to obtain.
The initiative supported more than 700 families living in heavily damaged areas, struggling against hunger and severe winter cold. SAED distributed coal, firewood, and heating fuel to help families survive freezing temperatures—especially those living in partially destroyed homes without windows or doors.
Fresh bread was also provided daily for an entire week through local bakeries supported by the project. Bread has become increasingly scarce, and many families rely solely on humanitarian aid to obtain it. Team members witnessed heartbreaking scenes: mothers waiting desperately with their children, and elderly individuals expressing deep gratitude for the warmth and nourishment offered.
This intervention brought temporary relief and dignity to hundreds of families, helping them survive one of the most challenging periods of their lives. Yet the need in Gaza remains overwhelming, as cold and hunger continue to threaten thousands.
SAED urges kind-hearted donors to continue supporting these critical interventions. Every contribution today can save a life, restore warmth, and bring mercy to families who are enduring the harshest of conditions.
