For the past 25 years, Yolla Kallas has been living alone after her divorce. Life hasn’t been easy, but she has faced every challenge with quiet strength and faith. She has four children, two daughters and two sons and all married and with families of their own. Though they try to help their mother as much as they can, their support is limited, as each is also struggling to make ends meet.
Yolla rents a modest home for 200 $ per month, a cost that has become increasingly difficult to cover. She suffers from several health problems and needs continuous medication, which adds to her financial burden leaving her unable to work.
Today, Yolla is in urgent need of assistance especially for medications and food to help her live with dignity and stability in her older years. We help to ease that burden by giving her the needed medications.
