3 months progress report on children with disabili

During July-September  period, 67 children and young people (45 boys and 22 girls, aged 3 to 16 years) with disabilities were supported through integrated services.

•147 therapy sessions were conducted at the Community Center.

•186 therapy sessions were delivered through mobile services. ( because of summer period, some children moved abroad or its their relatives homes).

- 400 community member (children, youth, parents, teachers, and social workers) were reached though the open days activities. During these activities the participants enhanced their knowledge on topics such children rights, healthy wellbeing, how to provide first aid and referral to the appropriate authority, youth engagement and their social contribution. These awareness-raising activities were conducted during open days organized by Community Center staff in collaboration with Local Health Care Structures and Social Services . In these framework during July and August there were organized summer activities with children and youth with the topic of inclusiveness and nondiscrimination.

-130 young people benefited from psychosocial mental health services offered at the Center. These sessions focused on effective communication and peaceful conflict resolution, psychological wellbeing how to be entrepreneurs. The psychologist and center staff consistently welcomed young people to foster a safe and supportive environment.

- Two young people were identified and supported with targeted mental health therapy. With a focus on their personal development and well-being, both have shown improvements in self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the therapy sessions.

- 14parents were trained on understanding disability and delivering appropriate care to children with disabilities.
