Dear YKIP Friends,
May this project report find you well.
We are happy to e-meet you again in this Vocational Scholarship Program project report. As we mention in our last report, students who get their training in tourism already got their training in the industry, in this report, we inform you about another four girls that get the training in administration. We are also happy to inform you about the result of the selection process for the 2023-2024 vocational scholarship program.
Current Students on Job Training
You might remember that four girls are on job training in the hotels. Now their friend who studied business administration started their training. Two of the girls who studied business administration in Karangasem, Tia and Puspita, are now trained in a notary's office in Subagan, Karangasem. In the office, they will learn how to operate the administration in the office efficiently.
Another girl, Sintya is currently undergoing job training at the Karangasem Regency's office of the Cultural Affairs Department. Sintya is quite busy right now because there are a lot of cultural affairs-related events happening this month, including the Bali Art Festival, the Karangasem Regency Anniversary, and the election of Jegeg Bagus Karangasem.
Puspa is the only girl who studied administration in Denpasar and she is currently completing her training in the city's electronics and furniture stores. She will become familiar with the store's operational procedures and administrative procedures over the course of the next three months.
We send our best wishes to all job-training students.
New Intake Vocational Students in 2023
Starting in April, the YKIP field officer visited all the students who applied for the Vocational Scholarship Program. After a rigorous process of selection, YKIP will support 16 students in the next academic year. Of all students in the program, 11 of them are female.
4 students will study business and administration in the vocational institution in Denpasar, while 7 girls will get their training in hospitality. This year, the students are more interested in learning food and beverage services, 5 girls decided to get their training in F&B Services, while only one student chose to study food production. Another girl is interested in bartending, and she will get her training in a vocational institution in Dalung.
We are thankful for all the support we received so that we could continue to support the students in Vocational Scholarship Program and admit new students in the new academic year. Together we can achieve more.
May you and your loved ones are always healthy,
Thank you,
YKIP Team
