Last year, 129 students received support through our Secondary School Programme — a 17% increase from 2024. Among them, 19 students completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), marking a major milestone toward brighter futures.
Behind these numbers are real stories — like Mandela’s:
“My name is Mandela. Before I joined Turning Point, staying in school was not always certain for me. There were times I didn’t know if I would continue.
But when I joined secondary school, another level of hope was unlocked. I have stayed in school consistently and focused on my studies.
Now I am in my final year, and I feel proud and hopeful for my future. I never imagined I would come this far. Turning Point has come through for me.”
Mandela’s story reflects what this programme makes possible — consistency, dignity, and hope for students who might otherwise be left behind.
As we celebrate this progress, we invite you to help us go further through GlobalGiving's LittleByLittle Campaign. Your donation, plays a vital role in supporting our Secondary School Programme, helping students stay in school and build brighter futures.
The campaign continues until March 20, 10:00 PM EDT (March 21, 5:00 AM EAT), and we’re counting on you to keep the momentum going.
