"EarthKeepers" Back to Schools.

As the weather starts to shine bright on our days, things are looking to get much cooler. We are happy to say that the "EarthKeepers" programs are back in Orange County Schools!  Since mid-February, our  "Earthkeepers" programs have been operating at the  Orange County middle schools;  AL Stanback, Gravelly Hill, and Orange Middle. The efforts and success of getting these programs back were made possible thanks to a huge effort from our staff, community, and donors (like you!).

One of the core values here at the Piedmont Wildlife Center is inclusivity. We take pride in creating a very strong community. Having Earth Keepers back in schools helps strengthen this community. More kids can now connect to nature, to others, and to themselves as well. The teachers at these schools have noticed an impact that we have already made on their students. They have told us that the students are more excited and happy about coming into afterschool and that they are sharing stories all about their experiences with the Piedmont Wildlife Center program.

This makes us happy to hear the impact that we are making on this community. Most of the students with the "Earthkeepers" program are not able to attend other programs that we may offer. The  Piedmont Wildlife Center has the tools to help these families, but we need your support to get our programs to the people who need them most. Please consider extending your generosity to help us meet these needs.

We are so grateful for everything you do - our work would not be possible without your belief and support.

Thank you for your generosity in supporting our camp.
