Project Report | Jan 4, 2026
Project Period: September 1, 2025 - December 31, 2

By Francis Osisiogu | Project Leader

Over the past four months, the Elite Star Foundation has actively implemented its child protection initiative aimed at preventing and addressing child abuse among school-aged children in North-Central Nigeria. Our activities focused on empowering teachers, students, and community members with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify, prevent, and respond to abuse effectively.

Key Activities:

  1. School Engagement and Outreach:

    • Successfully partnered with more schools across the region.

    • Conducted initial assessments to understand each school’s current capacity in addressing child protection concerns.

  2. Capacity Building and Training:

    • Organized training sessions for students on identifying signs of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

  3. Monitoring and Follow-up:

    • Conducted regular follow-ups with trained personnel in schools to ensure proper implementation of child protection measures.

    • Collected data on emerging concerns, including reported incidents of abuse and the effectiveness of response actions.
