This project will allow 600 vulnerable children and youth from the southeast of Haiti, to participate in clubs, and/develop and initiate economic activities to support their education. They will be taught goat breeding and how to make handmade goods (such as belts and shoulder bags). Goats will be given to children a reward for performance at school and beneficiaries will pass on baby goats to other children (sustaining gains).
Combat domestic servitude and juvenile delinquency.
Since young people will be supervised through clubs, trained in family life education, sex education and introduced early to entrepreneurship, domestic servitude and delinquency will be reduced considerably in the communities.
Dynamic associations will be created to supervise the children. And, children will be introduced from an early age to initiate economic activities to prepare for their futures.
