Thanks to your support, we continue to strengthen our support for young people with cancer!
Lizeth is 17 years old and was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in 2019. A month ago she successfully completed her treatment, so she feels happy and fortunate to be able to resume her life project.
Lizeth remembers with gratitude the valuable support of the Colombian Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, that during the long hospitalizations, they provided emotional support, reading activities and laughter therapy. In 2020, which has been different due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he has also been able to feel the closeness of the Foundation, due to the possibility of participating in virtual activities with other young people with cancer, with whom he identifies in a special way.
This young woman participated last month in a makeup workshop that she enjoyed a lot, where she was able to use a beauty kit donated by one of our allies. At the end of the workshop, she expressed that despite all the changes caused by the disease and the treatment, she feels beautiful and happy.
What do you think of these activities? Would you like to contribute to this project for the benefit of young people with cancer?
